This piece was made for the VI4 Artist-in-Residence Program. It's purpose was to showcase the work of a lab which focused on analyzing viral mechanisms of infection. I attempted to communicate this by illustrating a virion being mechanically disassembled by someone's hand.

Cover art for salt-sensitivity research

This piece was made for the VI4 Artist-in-Residence Program. This cover art portrays salt-sensitive hypertension research. The salt shaker, representing sodium intake, induces a flame in the kidneys and blood vessels, the regions of inflammation. This piece was used for the August 5th issue of Circulation Research.
